“Pure mathematics is, in its own way, the poetry of logical ideas” – Albert Einstein

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, my husband Chris and I feel blessed to call Louisville home. Having attended Catholic schools ourselves, we knew a faith-based Catholic education was what we wanted for our two children, Christopher and Nyah. I feel fortunate to not only be a St. Aloysius parent but an educator here as well.

For my undergraduate degree, I attended Youngstown State University and received my Master’s degree at the University of Louisville. I began my teaching career as a Math and Reading specialist at a math, science, and technology magnet school in JCPS. For the past three years I have had the pleasure of teaching Math to grades 3-8 at St. Aloysius. I am hopeful that my enthusiasm for Math will be passed onto my students. My goal is to provide my students with hands-on, real life learning experiences to enable them to relate and apply what they’ve learned to challenges they encounter every day. This will allow them to become confident, life-long learners.

My many outside interests revolve around my family and love of sports. In my spare time I enjoy baking decadent treats as well as cheering on my favorite sports teams. Additionally, I love all things Disney, so much so that I play the music while working with my classes.
