Admission

How to Apply

Admission Process

St. Aloysius has open enrollment which means we accept applications for new students throughout the year.  The most traditional approach for enrollment is outlined below. If you have any questions about joining St. Aloysius, please reach out to the principal for guidance about your particular situation.

Step 1: Tour the school.  Tours are set by appointment at the convenience of your schedule.

Step 2:  Shadow visit (grades 1-8).  Shadowing helps potential students as well as current teachers see if St. Aloysius will be a good fit.  During the visit, students will also complete a brief screening to help determine reading / math placement options.  KINDERGARTEN ONLY has a group screening process. This is usually scheduled in January / February prior to fall enrollment.

Step 3:  Complete application and arrange for teacher recommendations (grades 1-8) to be sent.  Applications must be accompanied by copies of birth certificates, baptism certificates, immunizations, physicals, and any psychological testing results/special needs documentation, and application fee.

Step 4: When completed applications are submitted, records are requested from your student’s current school.

Step 5:  Once all records are received and applications are reviewed you will receive a formal acceptance letter.  On average, this process takes about two weeks but can vary greatly depending on how paperwork is submitted.

What Parents Say

When we first moved to Louisville 4 years ago we were looking for a school for our daughters that was welcoming, friendly, encouraging and God loving. We found all of that and so much more at St. Aloysius.

Great Learning environment. Teachers and Staff are there to assist the students in learning to the best of the students ability. It amazes me how much our Children have learned, not only reading, math, English, science, and social studies; but how to be good people.
