I was born and raised in Louisville, and I went to school here my whole life. I graduated from Eastern High School in 2018 and UofL in 2022 with my Bachelor’s in Health & Human Performance. I played baseball all through high school, and I always loved PE in school. I had plenty of great role models that were my teachers and coaches, and I aspire to be a positive role model for my students.
I got married in July of 2022 to my awesome wife, Sarah. In my free time, I love watching sports, playing sports, hanging out with friends, and cheering for UofL.
My philosophy as a PE teacher is to teach students how to be physically literate and introduce them to as many different games, sports, activities, and exercises as possible. If I can help my students who don’t like PE find some type of physical activity that they enjoy, I will consider myself successful. I genuinely want them to grow up to be happy, healthy adults who enjoy exercise.
