Syracuse, NY is home for me, and where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from LeMoyne College. My family moved to Louisville in 1998 and I joined after graduation in 2000.
My first job was with Oldham County High School as a biology teacher. I loved teaching, but when my son was born, I knew he needed me more. I became a stay at home mom, and I babysat full time.
During my 9 years as a stay at home mom/babysitter, I made preschool lessons, created learning songs, made developmental sensory bins, and integrated crafts with the children in my care. I was passionate in making sure the children were engaged and nurtured.
At this point in my life I felt God was calling me to be a preschool teacher! After my children went to elementary school, I found my place at St. Aloysius. I have so enjoyed my first year teaching these sweet children and watching them grow.
